From his teens, Haroshi is a passionate "skater". Then, one day, he began to pick up parts of broken skateboards in order to transform them into works of art. The idea seemed crazy for many, but it did not matter. So he went ahead with his project!
Over the years, the Japanese artist has developed a technique for carving piles of old skateboard and cutting them into wooden mosaics. Then he assembled the mosaics in a form he had previously chosen. The various exposed layers reveal the reproduced models: dog, wheel, hands, apple, etc.
Now, he divides his time between his two passions: skateboarding and the realization of his works! ...
